Project with Association Education Solidaire

What does it consist of?

MOFIM - Motivation, Orientation, Formation, Insertion, Mentoring – is a 4-year vocational integration project for young people from vulnerable neighborhoods on the outskirts of Dakar.

The project aims to provide young people in Thiaroye with the opportunity to acquire new skills so that they feel capable and confident to access to the job market. It therefore offers the opportunity for these young people to receive training, technical skills and also support in the process of insertion into the labor market. This is a pioneering project that will reach more than a hundred young people from vulnerable areas over the next four years.

It is framed within the field of vocational training (education), as an extension of initial training to reach the world of work. The project is aimed at young people who have dropped out of university for financial, personal/family reasons and who wish to return to their studies as part of a short vocational training course, with the aim of working in a trade.
