Project with Diapalanté

What does it consist of?

The 3-year project aims to improve the professional integration of vulnerable young women and men. The project particularly emphasizes the empowerment of young women who are part of communities in rural areas surrounding the departmental capital and who require support and skills reinforcement through practical training in agroecology.

Agroecology training combines agriculture and ''protection-regeneration'' of the natural environment, which allows maintaining healthy soils and ensuring a sustainable and resilient culture (permaculture). Based on the principles of the Social and Solidarity Economy, the commercialization of the products should allow the entity the sustainability of the project to train a larger number of future participants. The project acts as a catalyst for local initiatives to support integration, training, and private sector dynamics.
