A  <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW263943335 BCX0\">lever <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW263943335 BCX0\">that should <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW263943335 BCX0\">have<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW263943335 BCX0\">everyone should have, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW263943335 BCX0\">p<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW263943335 BCX0\">But sometimes, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW263943335 BCX0\">we come up against <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW263943335 BCX0\">invisible barriers: social, economic or cultural obstacles that, although you may not see them, can be <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW263943335 BCX0\">you may not see them<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW263943335 BCX0\">but they have a huge impact on the opportunities of thousands of young people.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW263943335 BCX0\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>What exactly are invisible barriers?<\/b> <\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">We are not talking about physical walls, but about ideas, prejudices or systems that we take for granted and that, unintentionally, leave many people behind. They are those little things that, added together, create a mountain that is difficult to climb for those who seek to train and build their future.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Think of them as undercurrents. On the surface, the sea may seem calm, but underneath, you are swept away without even realizing it. These barriers work the same way, they are so integrated into our daily lives that often neither the people who suffer from them nor those who generate them are aware of them.    <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column column_width_percent=&#8221;100&#8243; gutter_size=&#8221;3&#8243; overlay_alpha=&#8221;50&#8243; shift_x=&#8221;0&#8243; shift_y=&#8221;0&#8243; shift_y_down=&#8221;0&#8243; z_index=&#8221;0&#8243; medium_width=&#8221;0&#8243; mobile_width=&#8221;0&#8243; width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243; uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;202615&#8243;][vc_single_image media=&#8221;13554&#8243; media_width_percent=&#8221;100&#8243; uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;129819&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;153166&#8243;]<span style=\"color: #000000\">They can take many forms:  <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>Social and cultural<\/b>: Expectations about what you &#8220;should&#8221; study according to your gender or your origin. Or the lack of references in certain professions that make you think: &#8220;that&#8217;s not for people like me&#8221;.   <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>Economic<\/b>: It&#8217;s not just not being able to pay tuition. It&#8217;s not having money for transportation, for books, or having to drop out of school to work and help out at home.   <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" data-aria-posinset=\"3\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>Attitudinal<\/b>: Prejudices of teachers or peers who may assume that a student will not be able to go far. It is the famous &#8220;Pygmalion effect&#8221; in negative: if they expect little from you, you may end up underperforming.   <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" data-aria-posinset=\"4\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>Institutional<\/b>: Class schedules that are not compatible with a job, complicated and unaccompanied bureaucratic procedures or lack of support for students with specific needs.  <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>The real impact of what is not seen<\/b> <\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Imagine a young woman with a passion for technology who never considers studying engineering because in her environment &#8220;that&#8217;s a boy thing&#8221;. Or a student who can&#8217;t afford to go to college because he lives in a rural area with poor communications and the cost of transportation is too high.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">These barriers are not abstract; they have very concrete consequences in the lives of young people. They limit their dreams, condition their choices and, in the worst cases, force them to drop out of school.   <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>How can we get rid of these barriers?<\/b> <\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Breaking down these barriers requires a collective effort and an attentive eye:  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Making education systems more flexible and adaptable  <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Life is not a straight path, and neither should education be. We need more flexible systems that adapt to the realities of each person. This can mean:    <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"-\" data-font=\"Aptos\" data-listid=\"2\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Offer scholarships that cover not only tuition, but also transportation, materials and lodging.  <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"-\" data-font=\"Aptos\" data-listid=\"3\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Design schedules that are compatible with work life.  <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"-\" data-font=\"Aptos\" data-listid=\"4\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Simplify administrative procedures and offer assistance in carrying them out.  <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">  Training and sensitizing educational personnel  <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Teachers are a central part of the system. Giving them access to personalized academic guidance training allows them to apply this approach throughout the entire educational stage, helping their students to connect their interests and motivations with their future career.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">An aware teacher, with the tools to detect prejudices (often unconscious), can identify these barriers and become a real agent of change in the classroom.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Encourage diversity of references  <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">It is essential for young people to see that any path is possible, no matter who they are. Making professionals from diverse backgrounds visible in all fields inspires and breaks stereotypes. It is about broadening our vision and showing that talent has no labels.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Create support and mentoring networks  <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Sometimes what a young person needs most is someone who believes in them. Reference figures can be a crucial factor in their lives. So it is key to generate spaces where these bonds can be born and grow.    <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>A path that we build together<\/b> <\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Overcoming invisible barriers is a challenge that involves institutions, companies and social entities as well as citizens.
