\n\t\t\tWith a background in Organizational Management, Social Work, and Mental Health, Marta holds a master\u2019s degree in Management and Administration of Social Organizations from IESE, as well as a master\u2019s degree in Leadership, Management, and Innovation from ESADE.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout her career, she has led multidisciplinary teams and designed strategies aimed at transforming social and healthcare intervention models. She has championed innovative proposals for integrated care for individuals within the public health system, particularly in the area of emotional well-being, as well as community-based mental health promotion and prevention programs. Concurrently, she has promoted transformative educational projects focused on improving the employability and empowerment of young people, both in local contexts and through international cooperation initiatives. She firmly believes that education is a key lever for change in building more just and resilient societies.<\/span><\/p>\n

She has a solid track record in managing programs focused on social issues, particularly migration, participation, support, and the social and labor market integration of vulnerable youth, as well as human rights\u2014such as pilot projects on women\u2019s participation and co-development (REDEL and the MIDEL project); the coordination of an initiative to promote the implementation of new models of cooperation on Labor Migration and Development between the European Union and West, Central, and Maghreb Africa (Rabat Action Plan) or the exchange of experiences and public policies between Latin America and Europe (LATAM-Migration).<\/span><\/p>\n

Her profile combines in-depth knowledge of social policies and European funding programs with a strong ability to launch and lead projects from a strategic and innovative perspective. She has led more than 15 socio-educational projects in high schools and schools in the Barcelona metropolitan area in contexts of high social vulnerability, focused on strengthening educational communities and creating networks with associations, social movements, and local governments. Notably, she has participated in the development of service-learning guides for healthy and sustainable eating, published by the Barcelona Education Consortium and the Centre Promotor d\u2019ApS, as well as contributed to events such as \u201cBarcelona Educates for Global Justice,\u201d where she has shared transformative experiences in primary and secondary education and forged alliances with the social sector and public administration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her experience working with teaching teams, social organizations, and local governments is complemented by a strategic vision and a strong motivation to generate collective impact through transformative projects. She has contributed to several publications, notably the book *Toward a Pedagogy of Peer Support* (2012). She has served as a trainer at the Association for the Promotion of Service-Learning in Catalonia and in the LECXIT program of the Jaume Bofill Foundation, helping to develop guides and materials for both organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her career combines academic rigor with a strong commitment to transforming educational practice through respectful support and the building of relationships. She began her professional career at the Barcelona Public Health Agency, where she completed her doctoral thesis at Pompeu Fabra University and participated in numerous studies focused on the social determinants of health and health inequalities. As a senior specialist, she coordinated community diagnostic processes and various city health information systems, notably playing a key role in the development of the Barcelona Health Report, a key tool for municipal public health planning.<\/span><\/p>\n

She has extensive experience in the strategic management of multisectoral programs, both in emergency and development contexts. She has led, among others, programs on food security and nutrition, livelihoods, protection, health, and resilience in various countries in North Africa and the Middle East. She specializes in translating global frameworks into local and sustainable actions, integrating a rights-based and equity-focused approach across all initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n

She currently directs the nutrition program within the Global Development division of the Nous Cims Foundation, focusing on the design, planning, and monitoring of interventions that address the structural causes of malnutrition. Her work emphasizes community capacity building and co-creation with local stakeholders, driving sustainable and transformative change in communities affected by structural inequalities.<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t

\n\t\t\tJohan Chermette-Wagner holds a degree in Political Science with a specialization in Risk Management and Development from Sciences Po Bordeaux and a degree in International Relations and EU Diplomacy from the College of Europe. He has a strong background in cooperation, international negotiation, and global and European public policy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout his career, he has worked with or collaborated with international organizations and donors (FAO, Organization of American States, French Development Agency, Development Innovation Fund, European Commission), gaining extensive experience in designing intervention strategies, analyzing public policies, and financing development projects in Latin America, North Africa, West Africa, and Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her commitment to strategic projects, innovation, and social impact has led her to focus on youth employability initiatives in Senegal and Colombia, where she promotes future opportunities for new generations. \n\t\t\tWith a degree in Development Cooperation from the UPC and a master\u2019s degree in Humanitarian Action from Bioforce in Lyon, she has 25 years of experience in international cooperation and strategic program management.<\/p>\n

She later completed her education with a master\u2019s degree in \u201cNGO Leadership and Management\u201d from ESADE. She worked for four years in various African countries supporting water, sanitation, and hygiene programs with Action Against Hunger. She was also part of the Farmamundi team in Barcelona and, later, of Oxfam Interm\u00f3n, where she spent 13 years working first in humanitarian action and, later, in disaster risk reduction and resilience. In her most recent role, she led the Nexus strategy, promoting models that connect humanitarian action and development, with a clear focus on localization and the leadership of local actors.<\/p>\n

Since 2021, she has headed the Foundation\u2019s Global Development Division, where she has championed a decolonial strategy that places organizations in partner countries at the center, strengthens more horizontal and strategic alliances, and recognizes the value of each territory\u2019s own knowledge and resources.\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t
