AN ADVANCED MEDICAL FACILITY IN GAMBELA
Because of the worsening of the conflict in South Sudan, hundreds of thousands of people decided to cross the border in search of refuge. They settled in seven refugee camps around the city of Gambela, whose health indicators are the lowest in the country. Supported by Nous Cims, the capacity of the emergency, surgery and maternity services at the city’s hospital has improved, which is the only facility with advanced medical care that exists for a population of over 800,000 people.
