What does it consists of?

Musical traditions are highly important to the Yazidi people in the North of Iraq. A music school could therefore become a key element in the personal recovery of young people who have been victims of the Islamic state. Nous Cims has fostered the Musicians without Borders project by setting up the music school of Khanasore (Iraq), where classes are given in music theory and the traditional instruments of the area: saz, oud, bouzouki, violin and blul. Small concerts and other cultural and civic community activities are also held at this centre.
