The most profound changes in people's lives require time and support.
Our challenge
A socioeconomically vulnerable environment, dysfunctional relationships with family members or other adults during childhood and adolescence, or a cancer diagnosis in adulthood are situations that have a strong emotional impact. Our challenge is to ensure that children, adolescents, young people and adults diagnosed with cancer are able to manage their emotions, grow in their overall and socio-emotional development, and become more resilient to present and future adversities.

What is Emotional Wellbeing?
It is the result of a balance between thoughts, feelings and actions, and consistency between personal needs and realities and those of the system of people with whom we live.
According to the WHO, emotional wellbeing is a ‘state of mind in which an individual realises his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to the community’.
Initiatives
Our programmes
Komtü
KOMTÜ is a programme aimed at improving the emotional and relational well-being of children, which is implemented in nursery and primary schools.
It is based on a comprehensive and systemic approach and involves all members of the educational community.
Koa
KOA is a secondary mental health prevention and emotional wellbeing promotion programme aimed at adolescents at risk of emotional and psychological distress.
Through experiential activities (theatre, music, sports and adventure), KOA increases their emotional, social and personal skills in order to develop the resilience necessary to cope with present and future adversities.
Domum
DOMUM is an innovative model that promotes the emotional well-being of people undergoing cancer treatment by creating therapeutic spaces and psychosocial activities focused on providing positive and restorative experiences.
With the aim of transforming the concept of hospital care, the programme weaves together a network of centres working to humanise healthcare.
